Do You Have Trapped Emotions?

Trapped emotions are negative feelings that get stuck inside your body and the energy field that surrounds you.  This happens as a result of feeling an intense emotion during a traumatic or emotionally difficult situation.  Trapped emotions can also be received into our DNA, from a parent at the moment of conception and can be traced back for several generations.

  • Loss of a loved one

  • Divorce or relationship problems

  • Financial hardship

  • Home or work stress

  • Miscarriage or abortion

  • Physical trauma

  • Physical or emotional combat

  • Physical, mental, verbal or sexual abuse

  • Negative self talk

  • Negative beliefs about yourself or others

  • Long term stress

  • Rejection

  • Physical illness

  • Feelings of inferiority

  • Internalization of feelings

  • Neglect or abandonment

It’s often easier to suppress a strong emotion than to express it in a healthy way.  When negative emotions are held inside, they can cause difficulties that may result in self-sabotage, emotional and physical issues.  Carrying this burden can cause you to feel emotionally out of balance and unable to feel inner peace and contentment in your relationships.

Negative emotions are often the root cause of self-sabotage.  Self-sabotage is any way of acting, thinking or feeling that prevents you from reaching your goals in life. When you sabotage yourself, you take action based on negative emotions like fear, guilt, shame, anger, or worry.  When this happens you unintentionally send out negative vibes. People unconsciously pick this up and react to you in the same way. This can be very frustrating because you always get results that are not in alignment with your desires and find yourself in situations that you don’t like.

When you have trapped negative emotions, you can be faced with choices you don’t want to make. The solution to this problem is to clear trapped negative emotions and start enjoying life!

You most likely have trapped negative emotions if:

  • You are overwhelmed by negative emotions of sadness, fear, and anger.

  • You get antsy or tired around people and need alone time.

  • You carry everybody’s emotional pain as if it were your own.

  • You have physical pain, especially neck, shoulder and back pain.

  • You have allergies and food intolerance.

  • You experience self-sabotage in your career, relationships, and health.

  • You pretend that everything is fine, but inside you feel unhappy.

  • You feel vulnerable and exposed all the time.

  • You are always tired and low in energy.

  • You are not connected to your inner needs.

Do You Have a Heart-Wall?

Have you ever been injured emotionally? Have you ever felt that emotional heaviness in your chest like your heart was breaking?

The heart is the center of your being. In fact, research now indicates that the heart may be a second brain, a brain more powerful than the one on top of your shoulders. A brain that is fully activated when you are giving and receiving pure love and acts of pure, unselfish devotion. It is through our heart that we give and receive love.

But our hearts are vulnerable to emotional injury. Sometimes trapped emotions are created in the body, and sometimes these trapped emotions lodge in the heart area.

Since all things are nothing but pure energy by their very nature, a trapped emotion is no different and consists of pure energy.

Well, sometimes your subconscious mind will take that extra energy that is now in the heart area, and it will literally make a ‘wall’ with it. Why? To protect your heart from injury; to keep your heart from being totally broken.

Heart Walls affect us in two ways. First, they block the heart energy from flowing through the body; this makes it more difficult for the body to heal itself and can cause physical symptoms, particularly in the neck, upper back and shoulders. Second, they block us from fully opening our hearts to others.

In essence, a HeartWall will make you numb to others and make it more difficult for you to feel emotions and connect to others. When you realize that the mind puts the heart wall up to protect us in the first place, it all makes sense, but if you have a HeartWall, you will have a harder time being able to give and receive love freely.  When the HeartWall is removed from the body, the difference can sometimes be felt immediately. At other times, the change is more subtle and takes place over time.
